Geo-Carta is a firm of geologist and geospatial technicians with over 5 years of experience in Southern Louisiana. Our goal is to help restore, rebuild, and improve south Louisiana by communicating complex geologic and geographic information in an easily understandable fashion in order to help people make informed decisions.
Recently we have begun providing prospective home owners with the geotechnical information necessary to make an informed decision. This sevice provides home buyers and homeowners with their flood zone, elevation, base flood elevation, parcel information, and other potential risks associated with the property of interest.
Along with real estate consulting, we provide a range of services including map production, geospatial analyses, Global Positioning System (GPS) and mobile GIS custom applications, raster analysis, web development and litigation support.
